There is a good hill road that leads to a hidden meadow on top with great views overlooking the valley. Secluded opening is a haven for wildlife and harbors trophy deer and wild turkeys. Open pasture in the valley would be a great spot for horses.
The class A trout stream holds some trophy fish as the DNR has spent $250,000 in stream bank protection and lunker structures, and has currently planted trees along the stream to further protect it. Structures have deepened the stream and created small rapids. There is also a small wetland on the property, where a spring starts and flows to the crystal clear stream. This is one of Wisconsin’s finest examples of a free flowing trout stream. Perfect tubing for the kids.
